2021 Keynote Speaker - Judith Dutill of the Online Learning Toolkit
Honey, Pack Your Bags. We’re Moving Online!Judith Dutill is an experienced online educator with over 15 years of experience working and teaching in higher education. Judith is passionate about bridging the digital divide, spreading media literacy, improving communication, designing instruction, advancing online learning, connecting with peers, leveraging educational technology, and developing accessible processes.
Judith is co-founder of the Online Learning Toolkit. The Online Learning Toolkit specializes in facilitating joyful professional development programming for educators invested in improving their online teaching. Judith will present the following keynote: In early 2020 the world was rocked by the COVID-19 pandemic. Today, educators are learning, in real time, how to teach their subjects online. In this session, we will reflect on the moves we had to make to arrive online and strategies we can use moving forward to elevate the student learning experience in our courses. Topics will include student engagement strategies for live remote sessions, student engagement strategies for asynchronous learning environments, and strategies for moving face-to-face learning activities online. |
